Online Restricted to Open Upgrade Registration - ICTCBL2137A

Online Restricted to Open Upgrade Registration consists of two parts:

a) 10 Online Modules

b) 1 day that includes a written examination and practical component to determine your competency at a JB Hunter Technology venue.

This course covers the skills and knowledge required for a person holding Restricted Cabler Registration to upgrade to an Open Cabler Registration. It includes the telecommunications regulatory framework, basic telephony, switching systems overview, installation practices and records.

Pre-requisite: Restricted Registration. You will need to provide evidence of completion of training from TAFE or RTO that meets requirements for Restricted Registration and/or current evidence of registration with an ACMA registrar.

Awards: National Competency Standard will be issued on successful completion of the online theory component and practical assessment

• ICTCBL2137A – Install, maintain and modify customer premises communications cabling: ACMA Open Rule.

If you are a resident of ACT, WA, QLD you may be eligible for a subsidy on successful completion of the above competencies. This means that you will have  passed  the online and face to face examination and practical skills assessments of this course.

Subject to approval we will assist you with lodging the relevant paperwork, and issue you with a rebate of the subsidy amount.
