Online Structured Cabling - ICTCBL3009A

The Online Structured Cabling Course consists of two parts:

a) 8 Online Modules - Topics include:

Structured Cabling for Integrated Voice and Data, The AS/NZS 3080 suite of Standards, Transmission Theory, Products, Installation Practices and Testing.

b) 1 day practical competency assessment will be conducted at a JB Hunter training venue. The assessment will include a written examination and practical skills exercises that will determine that you are competent.

This course covers the skills and knowledge required for a Cabler who hold Open Registration to upgrade his/her registration to include the Structured Cabling endorsement.

Prerequisites: You will need to provide evidence that you have/hold Open Registration with an ACMA registrar.

Students who do not hold Open Registration shall be issued with a Letter of Attendance only. Conversion to the full Award will be granted if Open Registration is attained within 6 months of completion of the Online and Practical components of this course.

Prior to attending this course, students will need to complete the free Structured Cabling Tutorial on our website. This is assumed knowledge for the course.
